Oddblox uses a fraud detection service known as FraudLabs to monitor payment activity and stop credit card fraud. Credit Card fraud affects over 100 million people in the US alone, and Oddblox partnered with FraudLabs to ensure no unauthorized cards can be used to purchase services.
FraudLabs utilizes a algorithm that takes in multiple bits of information about your account to see if you might be a risk. While their exact algorithm is not public for very clear reasons, we do have some insight. They use your location, IP reputation, blacklist checks, credit card information, and the speed of your transaction to determine your risk level. Below are some ways you can use to hopefully let your transaction through.
- Disable your VPN.
- Don’t speed through the transaction process.
- Use your real name and address!
- Make sure your account name matches your cardholder name.
- Use another card if you are able to.
