Oddblox ensures that all users are able to use their services fully without restrictions. As a result, clients are prohibited from doing certain actions that would impede other users or Oddblox as a service provider. Oddblox provides a non-exhaustive list of activities that are not permitted in its Terms of Service. This post will outline what is prohibited, and what exactly that entails. Please note, Oddblox reserves the right to restrict your user account or your services at its digression for actions not included in this list.
Prohibited Actions - Minecraft Server Hosting
A non-exhaustive list of actions that users are not allowed to do with, on, or utilizing their services are:
- Hosting programs other than Minecraft. (For example, you cannot use your Minecraft hosting server to run a crypto miner, Windows desktop environment, or website)
- Using the panel to attempt to gain access to other client’s personal information (For example, attempting SQL attacks)
- Attempting to crash or slow down the host machine (For example, purposely uploading and using a program, mod or plugin made to take up all available resources.
Prohibited Actions - Web Hosting
A non-exhaustive list of actions that users are not allowed to do with, on, or utilizing their services are:
- Illegal Activities (For example, hosting content that is not lawful in the United States, Russia, etc)
- Fraudulent Activities (For example, hosting content meant to trick users into paying the site administrators money)
- Host infringing content (For example, content like movies, game cracks and the digital property of others)
- Email message abuse (For example, using the Oddblox mail server to deliver unwanted advertising emails)
Additional prohibited actions are available on the Oddblox Terms of Service. This list is non-exhaustive and the examples provided are not the only actions under the categories that are banned.
