Requesting an additional port
To request additional ports, customers need to reach out to our support team via the store. Please see below for steps on how to get there. Once you open a ticket, just provide some information about why you need the port. We will assign you a random new port, or if you want a specific one that is available, just ask for that specific port!
To create a new support ticket, please follow the steps below:
- Log into the portal, located here:
https://oddblox.us/portal/login
- Click the “Contact Us” tab, located in the left sidebar menu
- For the subject, put “Requesting an additional port”
- Select the “Tech Support” department from the Department dropdown
- If you have multiple servers, please make sure you let the support staff know which server you want the port to be added to!
- At this time, a new request must be made for each additional port a client needs.
Exceptions
At this time, Oddblox will not assign ports 1 - 1024, or any ports assigned to other customers. Ports 8192 and 25565 are only available to customers who have purchased a dedicated IP.
If you wanted port 25565 so you could avoid putting the port at the end of your server address, don’t worry, we have got you covered! Oddblox offers no-port subdomains for free! You can also bring your own domain!
