Spark is amazing plugin that can monitor your server’s overall health, and it can show you issues that may be causing slowdowns. Being a spigot plugin, you will need to run your server with Paper or Spigot, it will not work with Vanilla or Forge servers. Lets get started!
Getting it installed
As Spark is just a normal plugin, it is super easy to upload it. I will walk you through all of the steps below!
- Download the plugin from SpigotMC
- Log into your Pterodactyl account here
- Click “Manage” on the server you want to install Spark on
- Under the “Management” tab, click File Manager
- Click on the
plugins
folder
- Upload the JAR you downloaded from Spigot MC
- Restart your server
Using Spark
To get started using Spark, start the profiler using the following command: /spark profiler start
. This will start the profiler that will keep an eye on your server. The info
command will show you the information the profiler collected without stopping the data collection. You can also stop the profiler by using the subcommand stop
.
You can also use the health checking system by using the same subcommands. You will just need to swap out “profiler” with “health”.
