Oddblox offers ALL customers backups, but this plugin allows you to upload your files to a service like Google Drive or OneDrive. This is really useful if you want to have multiple backups that span multiple servers/areas. Lets get started!
Installation
Installation of this plugin is super easy, as it installs with no additional config needed. Follow the steps below!
- Open the server control panel
- Select the server you want to manage
- Under the Management tab, select File Manager
- Locate and click on the Plugins folder
- Download the plugin here.
- Upload the plugin to the plugin directory
- Restart your server!
Setup
Once your server is restarted, you can configure the plugin to use a number of external storage solutions, or you can set it to locally backup. Lets see the options below that are offered!
- Google Drive (
/drivebackup linkaccount googledrive)
- OneDrive (
/drivebackup linkaccount onedrive)
- Dropbox (See the wiki, below, for more information!)
- Local (This will use your available storage space! Older backups may be removed by Oddblox if you begin using an excessive amount of storage resources)
After running the commands, you can just follow the instructions on your screen, as the plugin will guide you through the setup. Again, the documentation and other links will be below!
