Plan is an amazing Spigot plugin that offers very detailed analytics about your Minecraft server. It tracks everything, from how long each player has played, how long they AFKed, how many times they joined the server, and even information about their ping. It also offers insight into your server’s performance, showing you TPS, CPU/RAM usage, World Load, ping and how much disk space you are using.
Installing Plan
Unfortunately, Plan isn’t a simple drag and drop plugin, as it does require some configuration on your part. Before downloading, please make sure you have a port dedicated to this plugin. If you don’t, follow this article to get a new port that you can use for this plugin’s web dashboard. After getting the port, go ahead and put the plugin in your plugins folder and restart the server.
Configuration steps:
- Open the Plan folder in your plugin folder
- Update your server’s name on line 7
- Update the Webserver port to the port you were assigned. This will be on line 44
- If you want to customize the data that is collected, edit lines 85-90
- Restart your server after saving the configuration
- Go to
<SERVER_IP>:PORT
(Example: 1.1.1.1:24444), and explore!
- Additional documentation can be found here!
Plan is an amazing resource for larger servers with a lot of players. Please make sure you only install the plugin from GitHub, so you get the latest release!
